The Christmas and New Year’s Eve holidays are fast approaching! It is an opportunity to meet with family, friends or one-on-one in love. Of course, we all seek to be at the “top” of our beauty to awaken. Here are some tips to help you feel beautiful and good about yourself on festive evenings.
The scrub is used to deeply cleanse the epidermis and rid it of dead skin. This operation also aims to refine the skin’s texture, clarify the complexion and stimulate cell renewal. Since there are many exfoliating products available and the choice of such a product depends on your skin type, it is best to ask your beauty advisor in a pharmacy who will be able to help you.
The face mask is a skin care treatment complementary to exfoliation. This product is used once a week on average – after a scrub for best results. Simply apply it to the face and leave it on for about ten minutes before rinsing it off thoroughly. There are different types of masks (moisturizers, purifiers, toners, etc.). Here again, it is better to get information to find the one that is best suited to your skin type.
Don’t forget to moisturize your face skin well in the morning and evening. This is a crucial step in your daily life! The purpose of moisturizers is to retain the moisture of the epidermis on the surface and thus prevent it from evaporating. Result: the skin is supple and elastic, which gives a “healthy glow” effect. Choose day and night creams for a magnified effect.
First, apply a foundation with a sponge to even out your complexion. Then use a correction pencil to hide your dark circles and imperfections. Then lightly apply a loose powder on your face with a large brush. This will help to mattify overly shiny skin and fix foundation. Finish by applying blush to give you an instant boost. Place it on the bone of your cheekbones and blend it upwards into your ears.
For a “glamorous” look, use an eye shadow. Apply only to the moving eyelid with a brush. Then tuck in the top lashes – and why not the bottom lashes! – with a line of kohl pencil or liquid tracer to create a sensual effect. Then, make up the lashes with mascara to intensify your look. Don’t forget to always start at the base of the lashes for a more spectacular result.
At Christmas, shine your lips with a glossy red for an ultra-chic finish and a festive look! However, forget about dark lipsticks that shrink the mouth, give a severe look and accentuate the puppet’s wrinkles (on either side of the lips). For the mouth, the watchword is colour. After all, it’s a party! So this year, don’t hesitate to try vibrant red shades. For the finish, use a pencil the same color as your lipstick. A radiant smile guaranteed!
